Post MDG's & The SDG's

At the United Nations Sustainable Development Summit on 25 September 2015, world leaders adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which includes a set of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, fight inequality and injustice, and tackle climate change by 2030. Children's Dignity Forum is actively working towards being a part of this development process, focusing specifically on SDG 5 - Gender Equality.

Empowering women & children, promoting gender equality, the end of any form of gender-based violence, including FGM is essential to accelerating sustainable long-lasting development. Ending all forms of discrimination against women and girls, is not only a fundemental human right, but also has multiple positive effects across the community, the nation and the entire world to ensure development in all areas.
